Here we go with the new purchase of the week. My family shops, shops, shops and I must say it is fun. Now I am the type of person who likes to record things so I decided to look for a new camcorder. I have gone from Aiptek products to Sony products back to Aiptek products. I have a huge problem when it comes to finding different things and using them. I like change and I love trying new things whenever I get a chance.

I went on line to see if I could find any camcorders I liked but to no avail. So I once again went to Walmart to see what I could find. I ran into the Aiptek IS-DV Digital AV Recorder. I wasn't all that excited about getting this recorder because of my past experience with Aiptek's products.But there was something about the Aiptek IS-DV Digital AV Recorder that I liked.

First off I loved the look. I loved the silver, expensive look it gave off. I guess being able to appeal to the naked eye is first step in gaining interest. The Aiptek IS-DV Digital AV Recorder had a nice, sleek look that gave it that $200 feel. But the funny thing about the Aiptek IS-DV Digital AV Recorder was that it only cost me $79. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I bought the Aiptek IS-DV Digital Recorder.

The AIptek IS-DV Digital AV recorder is more of a hand held camcorder that allows easy usage. I was ecstatic about the fact that I could put the Aiptek IS-DV Digital Recorder in my purse whenever I was going to need it.The controls were simple and easy to navigate which is another thing that I loved. I hate buying camcorders that have a huge selection of buttons and confusing navigation.The Aiptek IS-DV Digital Av Recorder has a great picture and that is a must when trying to capture my family.

After naming all the things I love, of course you know that I have to speak about the things I disliked about the Aiptek IS-DV-Digital Recorder. The construction of the Aiptek IS-DV-Digital Recorder was extremely poor. I didn't like how it was put together. When you look at the Aiptek IS-DV-Digital Recorder it looks expensive but it holds cheaply. The sound isn't all that great so if you are expecting to get good sound after recording a video, you will be sadly mistaken.

Other than that I think that Aiptek IS-DV Digital Recorder could be a good buy for anyone who travels or like to record small home videos. It isn't the type of camcorder that can carry you through a huge event or anything. But you can definately get good footage and images from time to time.
